PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION

Biographical Notes:

After more than a decade of experience handling matters ranging from personal injury and wrongful death claims to employment matters to multimillion dollar insurance claims arising out of Hurricanes Ivan and Katrina, Chris Annunziata recognized that his knowledge analyzing risk and recommending creative solutions were better suited to helping parties through mediation. Since becoming a registered mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution in 2007, Chris has mediated hundreds of civil and family law disputes throughout Georgia. In addition to his extensive mediation experience, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Bedford appointed Chris as Special Master to issue findings of fact and conclusions of law in a complex case involving hundreds of thousands of dollars of alledgedly fraudulent Medicare billings.

Chris’ clients praise his calm and confident demeanor and his ability to gain the parties' and attorneys' trust. Drawing upon his experience to identify quickly and accurately the critical issues in the case – whether legal, practical or emotional – Chris generates meaningful discussion and moves the parties toward both a better understanding of each other's position and a successful resolution of the dispute. Whether a personal injury action or a complex, high-asset divorce, you can expect Chris to devote his full effort and attention to getting your matter resolved in a timely manner.

When Chris is not busy helping parties find the common ground, he is an avid cyclist, riding over 3000 miles a year along Georgia back-roads and racing at the Dick Lane Velodrome in East Point. He is also teaching his wife, Melissa, how to golf. He lives on the west side of Atlanta with Melissa and their Wheaten Terrier, Enzo.
