Biographical Notes:

Ken Kendrick has worked as an advocate an neutral ADR since 1994 when he co-founded the Alternate Dispute Section of the Georgia Bar. He served as the third Chair of that section and as Co-Chair of the Georgia ADR Institute in 1997. In 2010, after 35 years of practice as a trial lawyer and over 250 successful mediations, Ken left Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice to focus on full time practice mediation and arbitration. He has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer and a Corporate Counsel Super Lawyer in ADR in 2009, 2010.
Ken's commitment to ADR practice is reflected by the training he has received both at Harvard Law School and Pepperdine Law School. He has also participated in training as an arbitrator of international disputes with the ICC. Ken is a regular speaker on mediation at ICLE and other CE events.
Ken regularly serves as a mediator and arbitrator in business disputes, securities litigation, intellectual property disputes, real estate litigation, professional liability (attorney, accountant, appraiser), banking litigation and class action litigations. He recently helped parties reach resolution in a highly publicized, eight figure settlement relating to patent rights and a major state university. Ken is also a registered domestic relations neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution with a focus on being of service to couples dealing with the division of significant assets.
Ken was admitted to the bar in 1977 and has practiced in all state and federal courts in Georgia, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Through pro haec admissions he has practiced in State and Federal Courts in New York, Louisiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama, and Florida. Prior to joining the Atlanta office of Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge & Rice PLLC in 1996, Ken practiced with the firm of Johnson & Montgomery in DeKalb County.
