Biographical Notes:
Formerly Sr. VP -Litigation Counsel for ING N.A.; trial counsel, Chief of Litigation and then General Counsel of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority; Michael tried approximately 75 state and federal jury trials as lead counsel and over 40 as co-counsel or second chair. He also directed and managed dozens of trials as corporate litigation counsel in multiple states and federal jurisdictions. He also managed appellate efforts up to the Supreme Court of the United States.
In 2000, Michael transitioned his practice to fulltime ADR, and has handled a wide variety of ligation and pre-litigation based matters. To date, he has mediated more than 1800 cases in several states with settlements involving up to 8 parties and eight figures.
Michael and his administrative assistant arrange all cases personally and work with lawyers and staff personnel to coordinate as necessary. Forms for submitting case information including "Notes to Counsel" from the Mediator and an "Agreement to Mediate" will soon be available at Michael's personal website.

RATES & PAYMENT INFORMATION |
Rates: $175/hr per party for two parties; $135/hr per party for three or more parties
Travel outside Atlanta:
Expense charge: $1/mi by car or airfare by plane, no hourly fees charged for travel time
Payment: No up front fees.. All cases are invoiced by email to counsel at the conclusion of the mediation session or at the conclusion of the case if additional time is necessary.
Cancellation Policy: None except when costs are incurred in expectation of travel out town.
