Biographical Notes:

Mr Norwood tried to jury in excess of 50 grade crossing cases and FELA claims. Tried to jury in excess of 50 medical malpractice cases. He has handled for plaintiffs and defendants products liability, personal injury, contract and business disputes, covenant not to compete, civil rights, securities and health law litigation. Represented consumers in Class Actions against Mortgage Lenders, Financial Institutions and Insurance Companies. He has appeared in Northern, Middle and Southern U.S. District Courts of Georgia, Middle and Northern U.S. District Court of Alabama, Northern District of Florida, State Courts in Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Nevada, United States Court of Claims, and over 55 Georgia County Superior and State Courts. Has appeared in cases before all Georgia Appellate Courts, Florida DCA and Supreme Court, 4th, 5th, and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeal, ICLE and ICJE lecturer in trial practice and faculty member of trial practice academy.

Since establishing his ADR practice in 2000, Mr Norwood has arbitrated major Medical Malpractice cases. He has also mediated a number of personal injury, wrongful death, insurance coverage, business torts, covenants not to compete and product liability cases in Atlanta, North Georgia, Middle Georgia and South Georgia. He has mediated in excess of 100 cases to date.
