Biographical

As a registered mediator and arbitrator since 2012, Parag’s effectiveness as a neutral comes from his years of experience mediating the types of cases he litigated in private practice. This includes disputes related to automobile, bicycle and pedestrian injuries; business partnerships; civil forfeitures; civil RICO; civil rights including 1983 actions and jail suicides; contracts; corporate compliance; defamation and slander; dog bites; equitable remedies including injunctions and mandamuses; entertainment; hospitality; insurance bad faith claims; mass torts; mold; negligent security and third party criminal acts; premises liability; professional liability; property damage both personal and commercial; subrogation and reimbursement matters including ERISA and Medicare; trucking and wrongful death matters.

Parag’s diversity in background and professional career provides him with a well-rounded view to connect with all parties for any type of dispute. Parag is of Indian descent, growing up in a small town in Arkansas. Since moving to Atlanta in 2006, Parag has developed a successful personal injury, criminal defense and general litigation practice with his wife, Elizabeth George; authored three legal pocketbooks called The Code; taught trial techniques at law schools and trial programs across the country; regularly appeared as a legal expert on CNN’s Headline News and local news stations; and co-founded MyCLE, Georgia’s premier continuing legal education company. In 2016, Parag received the highest honor of being appointed a Pro Hac Municipal Court Judge for the City of Atlanta presiding over traffic offenses and city ordinances.
